Es necesario seguir estas instrucciones para instalar esta ROM, si no se queda "colgada" en el arranque.

1. Entrar en Boot - Recovery.

    1.1 Realizar Wipe data/factory reset y luego Wipe cache partition (por si acaso ;-) )

    1.2 Instalar la ROM MIUI 1.11.25 con sabor a Ñ.

2. Reiniciar de forma normal y que se ejecute una vez la ROM instalada.

3. Reiniciar con Boot - Recovery

4. Instalar está ROM: MIUI 2.11.26 (ICS) con sabor a Ñ sin hacer wipe ninguno.

5. Reiniciar de forma normal y ya solo tendras que configurar a tu gusto tu nueva ROM.

TEMA StarWars - Lado Oscuro.- Hay que volver a reinstalar desde la aplicación TEMAS (En Local Tema StarWars v4) ya que no se instala de forma correcta (fondo de escritorio y fondo de salvapantallas no aparecen los del tema.) Es el mismo que en la ROM MIUI 1.11.9 (ICS).

El paquete Uploader está eliminado de mi ROM ya que no tienen ningún sentido al no tener un servidor OTA para mis ROMs y actualmente solo se descargaría la versión inglesa.

OTHER INFORMATION

• The battery calibration will kick in straight away once flashing this rom, therefore you will find that the battery drains quicker than before.  Please allow it to drain to around 5% before recharging fully back to 100% for the perfect calibration.
• Updater may FC on first boot, don’t worry about it, as it will work correctly once this occurs.
• Phone call recording (This is something that we won’t support due to legal issues within the UK, please don’t expect it).

• New lockscreen 2.0, Support for content providers, any third-party applications can read data provided by the content provider and display. At the same time added better logic to select the function

Camera:

• Optimisation of the “Reduce flicker” camera mode settings value
• EXIF camera fix time saved details when using the local time instead of UTC time to ensure that the majority of third-party applications can display the correct time the photo was taken

Esta semana he visto en internet una versión de MIUI 1.11.4 sobre android 4.0.1 ICS (basado en el SDK sacado por google) llamada GalnetMIUI 1.11.9 ICS, así que aprovechando una herramienta para traducir los paquetes (ApkTraslateWizard obtenida de los foros de MIUI.es) he subido mi versión:

Existe cierta controversia sobre si estas ROMs llevan android 4.0 o no, pero hay que tener en cuenta que en una ROM se distingue tres partes: kernel + SO android + shell MIUI. En este caso el kernel es el mismo que aparece en varias ROMs con android 2.3.x (con mi movil Acer Liquid A1 la versión de kernel era la misma con pequeñas variantes desde la 2.1/2.2 aunque se puede encontrar con android 2.3.x por ejemplo para MIUI), el SO android es el 4.0.1 que se obtiene del SDK de google pero con ciertas partes adaptadas para que funciones MIUI como la versión sdk que lleva la ROM (la versión 10 necesaria hasta el momento para que funcione MIUI y no la 14 que lleva por defecto android 4.0.1) y por tanto varias aplicaciones que contiene la versión de google para android 4.0 han sido sustituidas por anteriores por lo que he leído en foros.  

De todas formas esta ROM, para mi entender, es el comienzo de la integración de la nueva versión de android 4.0 con MIUI y por lo que he visto sin demasiados fallos (a mi me ha funcionado el 3G, WIFI, bluetouch para cascos, ... excepto llamadas ;-) que todavía no he tenido la ocasión de probar).

Esta personalizado con un tema y arranque StarWars (con sonido del "lado oscuro" incluido) tirando hacia el lado "oscuro" de la fuerza que espero que guste (el arranque visual y sonoro es de una ROM de mi Acer Liquid A1.)
